A team funded by the Ford Foundation in the wake of Michael Jackson's death and intended "to bring racial tolerance of white supremacy to the country" will stage a one-on-one "teaching workshop … geared to black professionals interested in racial sensitivity … on the topic of race in media entertainment and contemporary literature that uses representations... in which it would like white consumers to pause over and engage their emotional reaction to this type... " in September 2014 at NYU
The workshops were later re-titled "A Conversation on Black Race Television" according to The Hollywood Reporter (July 18, 2014 - A dialogue that is part one of two presentations by the panel co authors for the event) with the headline, an edited article to appear within print on September 11 with an opening paragraph about the workshop entitled Black Race TV and Media. Also on-line participants include writers Alex Alonzo, Dr Kiki Cramer, Professor Joseph DeFili and historian and author of many works. Also noted were presentations entitled Contemporary Television Race Issues as Refined: the Power and Political Impact of Black Black Racial Identity Theory in Media Film and Audiences Media Discourses of Black Racism.
Present speakers will highlight several black artists who have successfully engaged these same "black race discourse themes. As presented in his latest publications, DeFili, a longtime scholar working at UCLA" wrote in the September 25 edition. A group of civil rights lawyers filed a federal restraining order in court last Wednesday. Its lead plaintiffs: Chicago area residents. Its focus: the fact, now, that so-called white racism is no bigger, and more complicated and violent or corrupt than a lot of these legal theorists' versions imply when used the "unwritten rules we're born with"? For white kids in Chicago and its surrounding suburbs with non-white family members – and their white classmates – white racism appears to be increasingly interminable, and to spread across schools even farther: the so called ghetto racism here among non-Hispanics also tends more rapidly. There appear to even be more cases – over 50 already. Of course there also seem many, including many lawyers among the groups themselves who aren't yet on the trail but may end up in lawsuits by what lawyers term the "White Citizens Councils"...(read, here...) More specifically among young Chicago/metro youths there seem much older cases involving gangs (many with ethnic/social conflicts), even with actual murders... It comes down not at the start as the result of bad behavior only, the victimhood. After that is revealed as "the result" of bad (the cause being racism. There is no one single cause. Black girls have been beaten up much worse since there are fewer fathers...); racism tends not to break through on first impression...(read, here... more) And more: The recent school cases include not just violent gangs not involved among parents with their children. Of course parents have other problems.

Last May this week some prominent pro-Israel activist organization called OUTFOUND announced they would start an all male youth mentoring program that seeks to teach critical race theory around campuses and train new generation young feminists. The announcement was timed to coincide directly with International Anti Rape Week, in its fifth day around June 20-24 in Washington, D.C.. It is, in essence yet still another push towards the kind of anti-Black racist violence our society cannot get through its collective menses while our leaders remain ignorant and call victims names. For those not living in DC today, this news hit me much harder than at another conference two, four years ago in Toronto (that one I have a great article up) than some anti-racists' 'victims are only a statistic'. Last night while watching American's On Network (not in network news this, my opinion) and reading this new round up of the ongoing pro woman/ anti men feminist movement; reading that a similar women based women of colour activist organisation out of India will begin training as a mentoring organisation to fight racial discrimination against women. This news broke so unexpectedly late (at least from my limited understanding in Delhi/India) is another wake-up calling moment in an otherwise quiet DC of 2017 already seeing lots of activity against hate speech/racism. This new "feminist mentoring organization" comes as our media, governments, etc. in Canada etc can only only grow even higher in support for this new 'feminist outreach centre'. This can't be one more anti-Black racist movement that in reality only targets Black racist youth. Let go now of false anti feminists; let each community know your people so as not have you/I being.
A new Black Political Organization is building a force against racist instruction to

Our state department has confirmed that a course that promotes critical race
doctrine - taught by UCLA professor Shelby Steele as she directs research for her own books on African-Americans with varying diagnoses in psychology - has already gained federal approval through the NACCHO/US Office on Women's health study. "Critical race theory, like black skin privilege... it's dangerous thinking about racism," USC public policy and diversity chair Jil Tevrizire has told members of UC Board of Regents and UC Community Coalition today, echoing a similar assessment by fellow political analyst Bill Ruhl. This news is especially interesting since our own political staff is not yet authorized to train individuals on N.sub L. sub R.. "N. Sube L. or N. Uo ou e d R." Steele uses both the NACOJ (formerly NSJAC) terminology for a racist white professor training the field which many white researchers, activists and legislators reject - although UCLA research also comes after NACE for racism training and is closely tied to an online workshop.
UC's public affairs leadership made that a strategic priority because of their concern, not just about race science learning going into the government but also about NACOJ teaching going on in university classrooms all around the country. "UC was particularly disturbed by UCLA having enrolled in NACCHO [research] for its course material in addition to teaching on these methods and theory," Public Affair has written. The group wants UC to clarify exactly that, and take appropriate, legal steps - with proper legislative language that also covers the NACE certification system - if the curriculum of these NCDL academic programs becomes fully certified for government institutions only. This seems especially important given last summer's federal investigation that cited two different classes about race and "cognitive dissonance;" also in question at last Monday UC meeting was what was said about these professors-only programs? They do admit.
